Hapunan is a story-driven horror game inspired by Filipino culture. I made this using Unity Game Engine, I wanted to create a unique experience for players.
This is my first game release, so I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it!
You play as Niko, a hardworking balut vendor who gets caught in a dangerous situation.
What starts as a simple task to get a business permit turns into something much bigger. As you investigate, you discover a dark secret involving the Barangay Captain, his dangerous friends, and a violent past. Along the way, you’ll face tough decisions, uncover hidden truths, and fight to protect your family.
With a mix of suspense, action, and Filipino culture, Hapunan offers an intense and emotional experience.
What begins as an act of survival quickly spirals into a waking nightmare. As debt and danger mount, Niko and his father cross paths with a name whispered with dread across the alleys: PENDUKO.
There are sinister truths hiding beneath the broth and shell of the trade. Every choice you make will ripple outward—shaping Niko’s morality, dictating his family’s fate, and revealing the grim horrors lurking just beyond the streetlight’s glow.
