She Only Visits at Night is a short, atmospheric slice-of-life narrative set entirely within a small convenience store during repeated night shifts.
You play as a lonely night clerk whose quiet routine is slowly transformed by a strange girl who only visits after the sun goes down. She is never frightening, only unusual—quiet, distant, and always looking upward as if she can still see the sky through the fluorescent ceiling.
Inspired by SCP-134, expanded into a quiet, routine-based narrative centered on belonging, loneliness, and the gentle strangeness of existing out of step with the world.
The story builds toward a stormy final night, when a sudden power outage plunges the store into darkness. In the absence of fluorescent light and mechanical noise, the clerk sees the girl more clearly than ever before: her eyes reflecting faint constellations, her expression peaceful, her presence finally feeling natural in the dark. The moment is not a horror reveal, but a soft and beautiful realization that she was never meant to be solved—only noticed.
